They are saying Barack Obama is the Anti-Christ? (Global Issue)

As the saying goes “In every rumor there is an element of truth”, have you had the rumor going around that the present President of the United State of America is eventually the arrival of the so long preached about Anti-Christ who will posses global power through his magnificent influence over all nations of the world?

This means that Barack Obama’s popularity will give him that great leverage to influence the world’s political and economic system so much that every nation would become allegiant to his government and policies, thereby introduce those so longed preached about rule of the Anti-Christ.

Could this be true? Drawing from the fact that President Obama is indeed very popular and I think the most popular President the world has ever had of. Come on! Why would peoples be so bias about the colour of a man’s skin, about the success of faith and courage, I think for the first time that old saying “In every rumor there is an element of truth” has finally be defiled, I have eventually heard a rumor that has no truth in it because this is total lie!

We should rise to maturity and jettison issues of the colour of a man’s skin. God has proved that with the gallant victory of President Barack Obama who against all odds emerged as the 44th and first president of the United State of America who has a coloured skin. This has proved crusaders of racism wrong, this is telling them to drop their fight, it’s not worth it!

This rumor is a racist attack and I think the world has grown above this level now; it is glaring that colour is not a limitation, “limitation is in the mind of the beholder”. Let us all discard this rumor and think of a better world for you and me whether you are black or white, red or pink there are so much opportunities for everyone to participate and excel. Barack Obama is not the Anti-Christ.

WHAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT MALAM NUHU RIBADU’S DISMISSAL (Nigeria Issue)

When things happen in Nigeria, I am not always surprised because I have come to reckon that anything can happen in this precious country of mine.

The dismissal of the former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), Malam Nuhu Ribadu picked on my attention because of the impact it might make on Nigerians who have been inspired by that gallant gentleman who staked his neck to hunt down corruption in Nigeria.

Yes he might have been used by some selfish persons to also execute their political will, but the fact is, those people that where clawed by the almighty arm of the EFCC piloted by Ribadu were all found wanting or what do you think?

Yes Ribadu gave in to preferentiality in his chase for corrupt public officers, yet billions of naira was recovered from the pockets of these pen bandits, 419 etc.

What I am trying to state here is the fact that Nigerians must stand to fight corruption, Nigerians must stand to protect Ribadu, we must show concern about what is happening to a man who once took so much risk for us, we should protect and encourage other Nigerians who have been inspired by the sacrificial act of the former EFCC Boss and have made up their minds if given such opportunity to dispose such character, having it behind their minds that incase anything happens to them, their actions and sacrifice will not be in vain.

If he was dismissed legitimately from the Nigeria Police Force, yet his life must be protected otherwise those guys he dared- “stepped on their toes” during his time as Chairman of the EFCC could come after his life and want to sniff it off.

Let us also appeal to the National Police Commission, National Executive Council, National Assembly, Judiciary and other authorities, you say how? At least write articles, letters, hold press conferences, television and radio interviews etc.

When they receive riot of letters from Nigerians, it will give a good pressure. Let us appeal for Ribadu because he is still a great asset of Nigeria that should not be wasted. Do you know he still have some vital information and experience that could help in the development of our future national security.

HAVE YOU HEARD THE LATEST ABOUT THE REMOVAL OF IMMUNITY CLAUSE IN NIGERIA? (Nigeria Issue)

Good things are already happening to the Nigerian community as a state. Before now almost every Nigerian and watchers of the Nigeria community have been complaining of bad leadership, using it as the major reason why Nigeria has not experienced sound transformation.

Today the story has changed, for the first time we now have a President that is going the extra mile to ensure the establishment of the “RULE OF LAW” and its prevalence in the disposition of the intent of the entire citizenry of Nigeria.

I think we now have a good leader, a President that went to the extent of publicly declaring his assets. Do you know the implication? He is saying, I take the first practical step to show zero tolerance for corruption, he is saying I am not here to loot but to service so check me!

As if that was not enough, in a recent lunching of anti-corruption campaign, Mr. President himself proposed for the second time THE REMOVAL OF THE IMMUNITY CLAUSE FROM THE CONSTITUTION. He stated that the constitution has no responsibility to “protect corrupt people”. What a sacrificial statement!

The implication is that even himself should not be protected by the immunity clause, therefore boldly stamping his feet strongly again that he is not here to loot but serve.

The truth is, if we do not acknowledge these crucial and fundamental positive changes in our leadership and encourage the actors that have sacrificially made up their minds to Shawn corruption, it will show that Nigerians do not really know what they want, it is lack of maturity and even God will not be encouraged to continually help us in our aspirations for a better Nigeria.

We should consciously express our gratitude that a major issues of our national prosperity is solved, the issues of “a currupt leader”. We always say that “if the head is corrupt then the body too will be corrupt”. So what happens now when the head is strongly proving not to be corrupt? The contrary! Your part is to promote and advertise such people so that their character can influence and challenge more people, and also encourage them to do more.

It is true that so many things are not yet in shape, remember that with a good leader these problems will gradually be solved if only you will give a helping hand. Think of what you can do to support this administration or what do you think?

Kelly Handsome Ban? (Nigeria Issue)

One thing we have not realized in this society is the power of Music and Movies. These elements have a very strong influence on the orientation of the society, especially children and youths who happens to be the leaders of our tomorrow.

Therefore it would be wise if a strict check is done on the kind of messages passed on by our music and movies. “Maga don pay” by Kelly Handsome with all due respect has a very wrong message and influence on the society, especially when government and NGOs are discouraging cyber crime a.k.a “yahoo yahoo” and other fraudulent practices in the society.

It is a promotion of corruption and therefore any group that patronizes such artist or song should be seen as a promoter of corruption, an enemy of Nigeria. My pain about this issue is that corporate organizations that portray to be friends and builders of our societal values, for the selfish interest of promoting their brands and products, patronize such musical artist; they feature them in their entertainment shows.

I stand to be corrected, if an artist with a song that promotes wrong social values like corruption and crime is not patronized by theses organization, I bet you, they will have a rethink when composing new songs. All hands should be on deck to promote the development of this great country.

Nothing should be underestimated, especially music and movies, they have a very strong part to play in the re orientation of Nigerians because the major challenge of a man is his mind set, lets do the right thing for the benefit of posterity.

I hereby call for the BAN of that music “Maga don pay” by Kelly Handsome and every other music that preach this wrong culture.

Nigeria is a Great Nation! (Nigeria Issue)

Nigeria is a great nation, but we must say it, we have a wrong believe that when the International Community say we are good that is when we are good, that is wrong.

The government of Obasanjo tried it, if you don't belive in yourself nobody will believe in you. We must not wait for other people to tell us who we are. If we think we are nothing, they will always call us nothing but if we say who we are then they will call us that name.

For instance, I tell you my name is Patrick, when you meet me that is what you will call me. therefore it is not about what they think about Nigeria but what do you think about Nigeria, what do you say about Nigeria.

For me Nigeria is Great!
